There are around 4,700 used 3/4' brass water meters and around 50 used 1" brass water meters. The meters have not been taken apart.

This is only for the junk meters and the barrels they are in. It does not include anything else in the pictures.

BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR RENTING ANY EQUIPMENT, IF ANY, NECESSARY TO LOAD THE BARRELS FULL OF METERS! ONWASA STAFF WILL NOT ASSIST WITH LOADING OR PICKING UP THE METERS. ONWASA EQUIPMENT WILL NOT BE USED TO ASSIST WITH LOADING OR PICKING UP THE BARRELS OF METERS!!

REMOVAL: Removal is by Appointment Only and all items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.

Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS.” (Seller) makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale.

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.

Q: Is there a forklift on site or do we have to bring a forklift there to load (9/6/18 4:47 PM)
A: No there is not a fork lift available, the Buyer is responsible for renting any equipment necessary to load the meters as well as bringing the necessary people to pick up the meters as ONWASA personnel does not assist in loading the meters. (9/6/18 4:52 PM)

Q: do we have to take barrels?? (9/7/18 10:11 AM)
A: The barrels do not have to be taken, but please keep in mind the hours of removal are from 8 to 5 and ONWASA personnel does not assist with loading. The buyer will have to arrive in adequate time to remove them from the barrels and leave the facility by 5 pm. (9/7/18 11:00 AM)

Q: You have a dock we can unload our forklift and load meters on our truck and at end load our forklift back on trailer, (9/8/18 2:35 PM)
A: We do not have a dock but we have a large parking lot that should be sufficient for unloading the forklift. We do not have an elevated platform if that is what you mean by dock. (9/10/18 8:22 AM)

Q: Is the hurricane going to have an affect on the end time for the auction or will it change removal time deadline due to potential power outages, flooding and related weather issues. Thanks (9/11/18 10:58 PM)
A: The auction will still end Friday. The removal deadline may change depending on the effects of the hurricane. (9/12/18 10:10 AM)
